I want to invite all of you to be some of the first people in our group. As soon as we have a short list of families to get started we will schedule our first activity. It will probably be a potluck at my home. I would love it if you all would join us. You either know me or Michele or both and have adopted or are in the process of adopting children. We do not care at all what form your family takes. If you are single, traditional, same sex, mixed race etc. etc. We believe all of these families are beautiful and want our own children to be exposed to all of the wonderful kinds of families there are out there. To quote the big purple dinosaur, "A family is people and a family is love that's a family!" Please know that we welcome you all with open arms. Our own families are a mix... I have african american and hispanic nephews and nieces as well as homosexual friends and family members, and I myself am a single mom. Come one come all, this is a group based in acceptance and love of all kinds of adoptive families. Please email me if you are interested in becoming a part of our play group.
